Did you know that Berthoud was named after Captain Edward Berthoud who surveyed the route of the Colorado Central Railroad through Northern Colorado?
We appreciate the historical and relaxed feel of this town. Berthoud is called the “Garden spot of Colorado.”
Each year our family looks forward to Berthoud Days in June. We enjoy seeing our neighbors and community at this great event. In addition, we enjoy all of the local artisans and businesses that are a part of this festival. We feel a part of the community and know our neighbors.
A gem in our town is Fickel Park Berthoud Parks which has gorgeous evergreens and shade trees. Plus, there are beautiful bronze sculptures throughout the park. We look forward to a quiet family picnic at this wonderful place which is right in the middle of town.
Another fun place in town is at Little Thompson Valley Pioneer Park where they have live music in the summertime. We like to grab a bite to eat and relax outdoors while listening to music with our community.

Above is a picture of a kitchen remodel renovated in one of the wonderful older homes in Berthoud. The lines look clean and elegant, and we made the space seem larger by removing a wall that separated the kitchen and living room.
